Raining stars from up above
Tonight someone has fallin’ in love
But not me
My date’s a good book to read
I’ll shake the thoughts of fear and dread
Singing a happy tune inside my head
Or I’ll write
About someone else’s life.
Love poetry is out the door, I will
Not write it any more
Pen, you can not make me ink
The thoughts that I no longer think
Sometimes I wonder what you’d do,
If I ever had the guts to tell you
But to bad
I think it would just make me sad
I realize it’s not meant to be
It’s time to stop all m y daydreaming
But hun
I think we could’ve had fun.

With some friends just sit and talk
Watch the flowers start to bloom
Anything to stop thinkin’ of you
